After an MA in Philosophy  and Aesthetics at the University of Milan, I studied Documentary Film at the School of Cinema in Madrid. Since 1998 I have lived in Spain where I trained in Flamenco Dance with the most acclaimed cutting-edge choreographers on the contemporary scene : Belen Maya , Israel Galvan , Andres Marin and Rafaela Carrasco , protagonists of my documentary " Bailaores ", awarded at the Festival Documenta Madrid.

Today I consider Flamenco as my main language. A form of body percussion, an aesthetic and ryhthmycal discipline, a contemporary language based on musicality, organic and open to any form of experimentation

Dance - as a form of linguistic research - is a philosophical experience.

I consider the body as a laboratory for performance creation,  and Flamenco as an expression of freedom.

In the last years I have been expanding my vocabulary and the possibilities of Flamenco into new territories, creating dance pieces inspired by my travels and research in Brazilian Folk Dances, Contemporary Performance, Algerian regional dances.

My dance pieces are born out of collaboration, of a natural metissage with other artists, musics, cultures which excite me and inspire me, in an ongoing learning and creative process.

I hold an Ma in Choreography from Laban, London
